Campers enjoy their first weeks of summer fun at Camp Via. |

Summer is officially underway, and we're excited to welcome campers back to Camp Via! Campers are already enjoying friendships, outdoor adventures, creative projects, and memorable experiences. One recent favorite activity has brought plenty of smiles and laughter as campers reconnect and make new memories together.
One of the highlights so far has been visiting the horses at Equi-librium, where campers enjoyed interacting with the animals and spending time outdoors. Campers have also explored the Fish Hatchery, participated in activities at Vibe Arts & Fitness, and given back through volunteer projects in the community. These experiences help campers build confidence, develop new skills, and create lasting friendships while making the most of their summer.

Our staff recently represented Via at two important events. Adrianna attended the APSE Conference, gaining valuable insights and connections to support employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Sean and Melanie participated in the XFORCE Event, networking with community leaders and exploring new partnerships that can strengthen opportunities for those we serve. |

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Helen & R.K. Laros Foundation for helping fund the repair and repaving of Via's parking lot. This major improvement project enhances safety and accessibility for everyone who visits our campus. Participants, staff, family members, and transportation providers now benefit from safer parking areas and walkways, making daily arrivals and departures more convenient and secure.

We are also grateful to Weis Markets for its generous support through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program. This funding benefits both Lehigh Children's Academy and Camp Via, helping young children learn and grow while providing teenagers with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and autism opportunities to build new skills, gain confidence, and prepare for life after high school. Together, these programs help create brighter futures for the individuals and families we serve.

The Via garden is flourishing thanks to the dedication of our participants. Throughout the season, individuals have been planting, watering, weeding, and caring for a variety of vegetables and flowers. The garden provides hands-on learning opportunities, encourages teamwork, and helps participants experience the rewards of nurturing something from seed to harvest. |
